Why is regular show so weird

Like with many minimum-wage jobs, employees are often underpaid and Mordecai and Rigby are no exception. Therefore, they are earning way less than the monthly minimum age anywhere in the US. It is no wonder that the two are always so broke. However, some fans have noted that the two are probably paying off all their damages to the park. As even someone with the least bit of paranormal knowledge will tell you, ghosts don't normally have shadows. However, as with most things on Regular Show , everything is just a little weird.

The very accurately named Hi-Five Ghost does not only have a shadow but often, he is the only character to have one. Again, what this means is anyone's guess. Sometimes designs work and sometimes they don't and animated characters are not exempt from this. In Elieen's debut, she looked a lot different and a little unsettling. This was due to the very weird design of her eyes.

Her eyes were plain black dots rimmed by thin black glasses. In her next episode, her design was changed to the Eileen fans know and love with far larger eyes and red glasses. Normally, when fans see an episode it has been through thorough editing. However, the first airing of the season five episode "Power Tower" was most certainly not the case. Surely they had something better to do with their time and money.

I'm not saying I didn't like the episode, but the plot just seemed out of place. Instead of having the country club people turn random items into toilets, the creators could have just had Mordecai and Rigby want to become members or something and make them go through some crazy initiation. That way, the duo probably would have realized that the club was a waste of time, and the whole toilet fiasco never would have happened.

Maybe it's just me, but I found this episode to be more zany than most. Prankless seemed pretty damn weird, and out of place. I still loved it, but it was weeeird. Excpecially for those times. The two have a friendship dating back to when they were teenagers and have numerous inside jokes and goofy traditions that make their bond relatable.

Also, like Regular Show, Close Enough features famous songs and bands throughout the episodes for background or montage music. Close Enough is currently two seasons long and has a total of 16 episodes in all. Season one, released on July 9, , and was originally set to premiere on TBS. This fell through and it debuted on HBO Max instead. Season two was released February 25, The kids that grew up watching Regular Show before their parents got home are now grown up.

Luckily, J. Close Enough is fantastic and will hopefully continue for a long time. Artists of the Month: September. Ep1 — Welcome to The Swifterhood. Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain.
