The IRMs are responsible for building, developing and managing relationships with businesses across the visitor economy. The IRM is the conduit between VisitScotland and you - the business - acting as your representative and point of contact within the organisation and vice versa.

Our Regional Directors, Regional Leadership Directors and Development Managers have the responsibility of making the most of tourism opportunities as well as developing and strengthening partnerships within their region. They work in collaboration with local authorities, destination organisations and other key stakeholders. Our friendly and welcoming VisitScotland iCentre staff know Scotland better than anyone and are ready to help you become a hame town tourist.

Of course they also engage with businesses to keep up to date on what the area s have to offer. If you're an event organisation, then our events team are dedicated to growing and supporting Scotland's events industry and are experts in their field. Due to the current Coronavirus COVID situation, our staff are now working from home following government advice to protect both our staff and customers.

Office numbers may not be available, but we will continue to respond to your queries as normal by email throughout this disruption. We manage a programme of industry events for tourism businesses across Scotland, many of which are delivered in partnership with destination organisations and industry groups. Our virtual and face to face when the time is right programme of events provide practical advice and support to stimulate new and sustainable growth according to the needs, capability and ambition of the tourism industry.
